Football Qingdao April 2007

The High School Football tournaments were held in Qingdao again, so off we went. This time Aytun came up as well and had an explore of the city. It was great to be back by the sea.

The Girls Team - we lost in the semi final to a Golden Goal, after coming from behind 3 times in the second half - the last equaliser being a last minute free kick. Gutting to lose, but the girls showed great guts.

Triathlon

A mini triathlon was organised at school on April 15th - 10 lengths of the pool, 10km bike ride round the grounds and then 10 laps of the running track. It was quite hard to do it all at pace back to back. Getting off the bike and starting the run made my legs a bit wobbly. Good fun though - I came in 4th in the mens section, the swim did me in as I couldn't keep up with the Aussies with my 'man fighting with himself' style....
